Depending on your total sales, your commission rate changes. The more artwork is sold by you, the commission percentage reduces. This means once your sales are over £400, the commission rate will drop to 10%.

How long does the application process take?
Once you submit your bio and preferences, our team will review your application and approve you within 1-2 days. Once approved, you’re ready to sell art!
How does shipping work?
You can choose which shipping provider you like best and set your own shipping prices. This way, you always know exactly how much it will cost to ship. Our system will automatically add this information to your sales receipts, helping you stay organized. When you receive an order, simply ship your artwork using your selected courier service and add the tracking info on the dashboard.
How do I get paid?
We use Stripe as our payment processor to take payments and to pay out our artists. For you to receive funds, Stripe makes payouts to your bank account. Payouts are made daily and contain payments processed seven calendar days prior. Using Stripe, we offer fast payouts and ensure a safe experience for both parties. The Black Dealer keeps you updated about your earnings.

Your shop is important to us. We’re continually working behind the scenes to make your store, and your art, get noticed by people who might not have known about it before. We support our artists by keeping them in the spotlight. We promote their artwork through our activities such as marketing emails, paid advertising, affiliates, our blog, social media, and any searches conducted on our website.
How do I list an artwork for auction?
Auctions are the best way to find great pieces, sell your own work, or get a great deal on anything you never knew you wanted.
